Sand volleyball courts need a few  maintenance items to be performed regularly to keep the court in  great condition. Unfortunately, sand attracts debris like paper, cigarette butts and bottle caps and pebbles.

The Shake'n Rake provides a high speed powered up-and-down (shaking) motion that mimics the manual lofting of the sand that was formerly done by hand. Using lithium-ion battery power, an integral reciprocating motor increases the lofting rate to up to 30 times per second. The task of moving slightly damp sand through a screen can be accomplished with little manual agitation by the user, so fatigue is reduced and productivity greatly increases! The Shake'n Rake takes a job that is necessary and  makes it routine by doing the sifting for you.

  The motorized Shake'n Rake is for  cleaning large or small expanses of sand that would be nearly impossible to do by  manually sifting. Aan integral motor automatically performs the function of  manually sifting the sand, so all the operator needs to  do is hold the grip and squeeze the variable speed trigger.  It incorporates rechargeable Lithium Ion  batteries and a small motor with variable speeds to gently agitate the tines  without breaking the debris.  This automatic  sifting function speeds the process of cleaning while greatly reducing the  effort required to manually sift.  An additional benefit of the powered  Shake'n Rake is that with most screened tools, damp sand will not flow through a  the screen.  However, because this is a powered fork, the sand can still sifts through.  When it is used in dry sand it is beach sand cleaning magic!   Although this motorized version can be used with dry or damp sand it should not be used  for wet sand or in the water
